こんにちは、VAT69です。今日はTwitterに関する話題です。

Twitterに関連するカンファレンスが目白押しだそうです。様々な応用可能性やマネタイズ
の方法など、多くの期待がTwitterに寄せられているということの証でしょうね。ただ、
現在は技術の普及過程のピークであるが故に、過度な期待が寄せられがちな部分もあるのでは
ないかと個人的には懸念しています。一気にしぼんでしまわなければいいんですけどね。

It looks like the trend of Twitter conferences is growing, with more events popping
up around the country. As we’ve said in the past and will continue to say, there
are tremendous opportunities for businesses, brands, non-profits and individuals
to use Twitter as a tool for customer support, fund raising, brand management,
advertising, job search and much more.

Twitter関連カンファレンスのトレンドは拡大基調にあるようで、米国中でますます多くの
イベントが開催されている。我々が過去の記事で、また現在も述べているように、企業、
ブランド、非営利組織、そして個人にとって、カスタマーサポート・ブランドマネジメント・
増資・ブランドマネジメント・広告・職探しなどなどのツールとしてTwitterを使える機会が
おびただしく存在しているのだ。

trend 「トレンド、傾向」
pop up 「ぽっと出現する」。popは擬音語。
tremendous 「おびただしい」
opportunity 「機会、チャンス」
opportunities for A to ... 「Aが...するチャンス」。A はto以下の意味上の主語。
