Michaelは、1998年にパーキンソン病（Parkinson's disease）であることを公
表しました。その後も病気と闘いながら、世界中でパーキンソン病と戦う人の
ためにThe Michael J. Fox Foundation（ http://www.michaeljfox.org/ ）
を設立し、現在も精力的に研究助成活動を行っているようです。

2. Hanging in cyberspace
>>> Gathering together with friends online in discussion boards or 
     instant messages.

>>> send me an instant message on the Internet or a text message on 
     my cell phone.

★ 会話で使うとどうなるの？

(Takes place in the halls of a high school)

Sandy: Hi Yolanda. I gotta tell you something, but I don't have time
       right now. Why don't you IM me after class and I'll fill you
       in.

Yolanda: Sounds great! I've got some research to do for class at that
        time as well, so I'll be surfin' the net anyway. Maybe we
        can hang in cyberspace for a while working on this project
        together.
