今日、この後、区の定期健診に行ってきます。

今年からメタボ対策に的を絞ったやり方に変わったみたいです。

ウエスト、ずっと７６、７９辺りだったのですが、
最近、歳のせいか８０の大台に乗ってしまった＾＾；

でも、なんか腹囲だけでメタボって呼ばれるのも、なんだかな〜〜
って、言い訳魔王になっておりまする。。。

メタボは metabolic syndrome の略。
metabolic は「代謝の」、syndrome は「症候群」。

ですから「メタボ＝お腹が出ている」ではありませぬる。。。

とはいえ、糖尿病、高血圧などの予備群の
１つの指標であることは確かですかね。

とりあえず行ってきま〜す。
