ルカによる福音書 18:35-43

18:35 彼がエリコに近づいていた時のこと，ある盲人が
道ばたに座って物ごいをしていた。 18:36 群衆が通り
過ぎるのを耳にして，これは何事かと尋ねた。 
18:37 人々は，ナザレのイエスが通って行くのだと彼に
告げた。 18:38 彼は叫んで言った，「ダビデの子イエ
スよ，わたしをあわれんでください！」　 18:39 先を
行く者たちが彼をしかりつけ，黙らせようとしたが，
彼はますます，「ダビデの子よ，わたしをあわれんでく
ださい！」と叫び続けた。

18:40 イエスは立ち止まって，彼を連れて来るようにと
命じた。彼が近づいて来ると，イエスは彼に尋ねた， 
18:41 「何をして欲しいのか」。

彼は言った，「主よ，また見えるようになることで
す」。

18:42 イエスは彼に言った，「見えるようになりなさ
い。あなたの信仰があなたをいやしたのだ」。

18:43 すぐに彼は見えるようになり，神に栄光をささげ
ながらイエスに従った。それを見て，人々はみな神をた
たえた。


The Good News According to Luke 18:35-43

18:35 It happened, as he came near Jericho, a 
certain blind man sat by the road, begging. 
18:36 Hearing a multitude going by, he asked what 
this meant. 18:37 They told him that Jesus of 
Nazareth was passing by. 18:38 He cried out, 
“Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!” 
18:39 Those who led the way rebuked him, that he 
should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, 
“You son of David, have mercy on me!”

18:40 Standing still, Jesus commanded him to be 
brought to him. When he had come near, he asked 
him, 18:41 “What do you want me to do?”

He said, “Lord, that I may see again.”

18:42 Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight. 
Your faith has healed you.”

18:43 Immediately he received his sight, and 
followed him, glorifying God. All the people, 
when they saw it, praised God.
