特集：類語使い分けトレーニングPart3
英文ライティングは類語(類似の意味持つ語)の使い分けが非常に重要です。というのは、英文ライティングは、
会話と違って読者が発信者に質問できないことから、specific wordsが好まれ、例えば、言う（say）の代わりに
argue, allege, report, claim, などを使ったり、showの換わりに、illustrate, reflect, indicate, suggestの
ように使い分けたり、与える(give)の代わりにprovide, supply, grant, extendなどを用いて意味を明確（specific）
にすることができます。それでは、ヒントを参考に「与える」の類語グループの問題にチャレンジしてみましょう。
単に、giveだけではいけませんよ。(スーパーレベルライティングより)

下の「与える」の類語グループの5つの選択肢の中から適当なものを選んでみましょう。
（accord, administer, confer, extend, supply）

ヒント・・・ものを必要としている人に「長期間に渡って大量に供給」する
