Dear Readers,

Well it's now the middle of August which means that the annual
high school baseball tournament is in full gear.  Because of my
Osaka roots, I traditionally like the kansai area schools, but
this year doesn't look so good.  I think I will cheer for
Sendai Ikuei from Miyagi prefecture.  I mean what's not to like
about a club with a kid who can throw a 155 km fastball!

Recently we have had a couple of new temp staffing (haken type)

Recently I have been spending my time working on Sudoku
puzzles.  (The number arrangement grid game that is quite
popular these days).  I often see people working on these
puzzles on the train and wondered what was so exciting about
this game, but after doing a few, I have to say they are
quite addictive.  They're a good way to kill some time on the
long trip back to Osaka.
