There, scientists have developed a way to save 300 times more data on a single DVD. Unfortunately, the disk drives used to record those DVD’s are not on sale, because they would be too expensive for most people to be able to afford. From now on, the scientists say they are going to try to develop ways to make those disk drives cheaper to produce. The sooner they discover how to do that, the sooner I can save all my computer files onto a few disks, and clean out my closet. Satoshi: Mr. Suzuki really should think more carefully before he speaks. 皆さんが Bill だったら、どのように英語でたずねますか？ 30秒で、考えてみてください。 チッチッ… 10秒… チッチッ… 20秒… チッチッ… 30秒… はい、時間です！！ ◆ブライアン先生の解説 模範解答： put my/your/his/her foot in my/your/his/her mouth そして、その他の僕のサンプルアンサーと解説です〜〜 1) tell lies 2) say something that is embarrassing, and/or gets the person into trouble It would be difficult to put your foot in your mouth, but it would be even harder to speak with your foot in your mouth. After saying something embarrassing, or something that could get you into trouble, you might feel like you want to be able to put your foot in your mouth to stop you from saying anything more.
