If I may add my two cents worth, the idea is that the leader serves as the steward of an organization. They realize that they can best do that by being a leader who sets an example, takes the initiative and inspire their colleagues. That's really important when making decisions about delegating authority, which is absolutely vital for a leader. ────────────────────────────── have the guts and the humility, 勇気と謙虚さを持つ ────────────────────────────── New Leadership (3)より Guts is the will and courage to do something which is difficult or unpleasant, or which might have unpleasant results.
