If I may add my two cents worth, the idea is that the leader serves as the steward of an organization. He or she has a strong natural inclination to serve others. They realize that they can best do that by being a leader who sets an example, takes the initiative and inspire their colleagues. ────────────────────────────── first and foremost, 何よりも、まず第一に ────────────────────────────── You use first and foremost to emphasize the most important quality of something or someone. ex) I see myself, first and foremost, as a working artist. ────────────────────────────── add one's two cents worth, 意見を言う、口を挟む ────────────────────────────── your two cents' worth If you have or you put in your two cents' worth, you give your opinion about something, even if nobody has asked you for it. People occasionally replace 'two' with another number.
